Big Wolf Band (Featuring Zoey Green)

BIG WOLF BAND (featuring ZOE GREEN)  I got a phone call the day after last years Diggle Blues Festival from the Big Wolf Band asking could they play at the next years festival. It turns out that they were buddies of another great Birmingham band, the Tom C Walker band who appeared at the Band Club last year and they told them what a great audience we have at Diggle (this has also been said by many of the bands appearing, who love to have the appreciative audience we get at Diggle). We eventually got the chance to see the band at Congleton Blues Festival and were impressed with their sound. They have a real pedigree and they have established themselves as one of the must-see rock blues bands on the circuit. In 2017 their debut album ‘A Rebels Story’ went to No 1 as best selling blues album on the amazon charts and received international radio play, Paul Jones Radio 2 show and got great reviews from the likes of Blues in Britain amongst others. Since the band were booked, they have been joined by Zoe Green who until recently had her own band. This will lead us to a double helping of quality blues music from Birmingham.
